Was a teacher before marrying, and moving to inland Queensland with her husband, on a large sheep and cattle property. Survived droughts and hard times. Worked at capturing the spirit and soul of the bush through fleece art . Exhibited works, and sold overseas. Developed a passion for photography in 2005, particularly in capturing the moods and spirit of the Australian outback she was part of for so long.
"It is rewarding as a fine art photography artist, to view an image taken and identify it as a special image which has captured the spirit of the subject visually."
"...primary motivation is to share with others the spiritual connection I feel with the subject taken."
"I consider myself a photo journalist as I aim to tell a story through each image."
